Water Fed Pole Cleaning

In 2003 we adopted safer working practices on our cleaning workload and invested in water fed pole cleaning technology. Water fed pole cleaning has become the safest choice on cleaning commercial properties without MEWPs (Mobile Elevated Working Platforms). It can be used on windows, cladding, atria and various smooth surfaces. It allows the operative to work 20 metres (4 to 5 storey) safely from the ground.

The vehicular holding tanks carry 1000 litres of water; this water is pumped along hoses, up the poles to a brush head. The brush head allows us to thoroughly clean the whole unit, ( on windows this will include -glass, sill and frames) and then the fan spray rinses any dirt from the unit. All water used has been purified by reverse osmosis. There is no requirement to dry the windows/cladding etc, they will dry naturally and perfectly clear

Case Study 1

Recently on one of our Supermarket cleans we had to look at eight rows of 50 window units, on a roof with blinds in front of every unit that could not be moved. The units were surrounded by aluminium and the blinds in front of them were also made of aluminium. They had never been cleaned and the main problem was the aluminium had leached oxides onto the glass and left them grey and dull. No standard cleaning chemicals would clean them.

The task was almost impossible to clean and was made worse because the blinds could not be opened but we were able to source a specific compound to hand wash each unit with and then all that was required was to rinse off with a pressure washer. No task is out of our capability and we will go the extra mile to find the solution to your cleaning problems
